    A motivation letter is not too different from a cover letter which go with resume writing and in fact a lot of people do tend to confuse between the two.

    Letter of motivation is a literal translation of the French ‘lettre de motivation’ and it is also known as cover letter.

    Motivation letter are more often written to company and throw light upon the qualities that the applicant has, which may or may not be apparent in his job application.

    Past and current work experience written in your motivation letter will help to emphasize your background and goals.
