    How to write a letter of intent to vacate? Before signing a contract for rental of an apartment or a premise, take keen interest in the provision that describes the terms and conditions for vacating the property.

    The moment you are satisfied with what is stated, go ahead and sign. Only moments after signing the contract document will the landlord know that you are tied. You may never vacate the premises unless you pay a hefty sum of money in form of breach of contract.
